Zynna has the highest standards of quality for its staff of immortals. We are looking for hard-working, long-term, committed immortals. In order to narrow down the applicants to the best possible selection, the administration of Zynna has established the following procedures for the selection of new immortals.

1) If you are interested in immortality, send mail to Law. Please include the reasons you would like to become an immortal as well as any past immortal experience you've had. NOTE: Past experience as an immortal is not a requirement, so long as you have the desire to learn. However, knowledge of Zynna (from the view of a player) is required, therefore only those players above level 10 need apply.

Immortals should also have personal references in the mud community. Please include in your applications the name of two immortals from Zynna or any other mud who will act as a character reference for you.

Level 10 does not take a huge amount of time to achieve. Under certain circumstances, if you are not known by the immortals, it's hard to vote for you. If you think you'll want to be an imm here, get to know people and play a while. The more we know about you, the easier it will be to make a decision on your application.

2) Upon receipt of your application, Law will notify the other arches of your desire for immortality. All arches will then have a period of time in which to voice objections. An objection does not necessarily bar the applicant from immortality; the final decision will be made by a majority vote of the head arches.

3) If there are no objections from the arches, the applicant will then be asked to submit to a security check. All immortals are required to give their real names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses which will then be subject to verification. Zynna MUD is interested in creating a stable, long-term environment for all immortals. We are interested in being a close-knit and friendly community, more like a family and less like a collection of faceless, nameless characters.

All immortals on Zynna know one another and are often involved with each other on a personal level on the mud as well as in RL.

4) Once an applicant has gone through the security verification, they will be promoted to "Novice". New Immortals are given read access to the mud's documentation which they are required to read.
